Telephony settings
The router supports telephony services over Internet, also referred to as VoIP (Voice over IP).
Choose Enable Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) to setup the VoIP services and fill in the requested fields. Normally the service provider provides you with instructions and the information needed to setup the service.

The router uses the SIP protocol to utilize the VoIP services.
Quad-dotted notation is a way to write in IP address (IPv4). The format uses four groups of numbers separated by a “period”. Each group of numbers can have a value in the range 0 to 255. An example of such an IP address is 10.220.1.231.
Domain Name notation is a way to write an IP address in a textual format. The Domain name is automatically translated to an IP address via a DNS (Domain Name Server) service in the network.
